Public Health Research

Providing an Enabling Environment for Research (PEER) in Health is a research grant program initiated by Pfizer Philippines in partnership with the National Institute of Health-Philippines, the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development. Selected grantees first undergo training on research project development, good clinical practice and data analysis and later receive funding support for each project.

The main thrust of this new tripartite partnership is to promote the value of health research in the country by supporting locals studies and that will respond to current public health concerns, Determined to further enhance research and development activities in the different regions of he Philippines, PEER Health also opens opportunities for interagency collaboration and data sharing between the government and private sector.
