Marketing Executives of the Pharmaceutical-Healthcare Industry (MEPI) is in continuous search of Top District Managers and Professional Healthcare Representatives.
The contest was first launched in 1995, from then on MEPI continued to honor the best DMs and PHRs in the Pharmaceutical Healthcare Industry. The award is a distinction given to the new generation of the highly productive, creative, innovative and self-motivated DM and PHR. Participants have been thoroughly screened to make sure they meet the requirements se forth by the committee. Participants were nominated and certified as the best DMs and PHRs by their respective companies. As part of the process of elimination, finalists have undergone the stiffest of judging to be able to demonstrate their capabilities and emerge as the best among the best.
Last August 24, 2001, Specialist District Manager Loraine Gallardo was hailed as the Top DM. For the Top Rep category, SPHR Edda Banas was awarded the first runner-up and SPHR Mawi De Mesa the second runner-up. Specialist District Manager Jun Grimares was certified winner for his participation in the contest. A simple recognition ceremony was held at the office last September 3, 2001, to honor the winners. Pfizer once again proved its excellence and dominance in the Pharma Industry as we garnered 50% of the major awards.

Pfizer has a history of winning streak in this contest. In the years that we participated in these contests, we had PHRs who received awards in the Top Rep category: Novelle de Leon, Freida Handang and Jun Yabes. For the Top DM category: Rico Morales, Bon Arguelles and Marj Villanueva.
The trophy for Top DSM is displayed at the DMs docking station for posterity. It will be there for as long as we continue to win the contest. The challenge is on for the next generation contenders.
