Pfizer received one of the most sought after awards in the country as the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) has named the pharmaceutical firm as The Employer Of The Year for 2004. The award is the country’s most coveted recognition in the area of human resources.
The PMAP Employer of the Year award gives honor to a company whose leadership, dynamism and professionalism fulfill its human resource management responsibilities. The award is given annually to deserving companies with exceptional accomplishments that puts them a cut above the rest.
Pfizer gives credit to the company’s Human Resources Team for stepping up and taking on the challenge of leading the company’s innovative Employer of Choice initiatives. These initiatives consist of company-wide training and mentoring programs in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management and a total compensation package that includes a pioneering flexible benefits program and opportunities to establish work-life balance.
