The Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) and Pfizer recently held its 10th PCP-Pfizer Grand Quiz Finals at the Shangri-La EDSA Hotel. Entitled “A Decade of Knowledge”, the event pitted eight teams of doctors coming from different hospitals against each other. In the end, it was defending champions Chong Hua Hospital, made up of doctors Cindy Tan, Judith Soliano, John Li, and their coach Carlos Duyongco who emerged as winners, besting competitors from UST Hospital and St. Luke’s Medical Center.
“We are happy to be a part of this event once more,” Pfizer President and Country Manager Gerry Bacarro said. “This event is something much more than a typical quiz bee. It hopes to develop camaraderie, update both residents and clinicians, and at the same time, promote competitiveness among the doctors.”
