Pfizer imparts color and laughs with Youth and Hues Art Contest. Pfizer Philippines Foundation recently organized Youth and Hues 2004, an art competition for differently-abled and underprivileged children. Now on its fourth year, Youth and Hues aims to provide children with an opportunity to express themselves through art. This year, Pfizer teamed up with Kythe Foundation, a patient advocacy group that promotes and provides necessary psycho-social care for pediatric cancer and terminally-ill patients. The on-the-spot drawing contest had the theme “O Kay Saya ng Buhay”. Shown in photo are (l-r) Girlie Garcia, Executive Director of Kythe Foundation, Pfizer Corporate Affairs Director Karen Villanueva, Artist Noel Catacutan, and Dr. Luis Gatmaitan, together with the winners in the various categories. Not in photo is renowned glass sculptor Impy Pilapil who was also part of the board of judges. Aside from cash prizes and special gift packs for the winners, the winning artworks will also be featured in Pfizer’s 2005 corporate planners.
